Join our dynamic Merchant Acquisition and Relationship team and take a pivotal role in fortifying and expanding our Sales Vertical & OEM Relationships (Mobiles and Consumer Durables). As Senior Manager Key Accounts, you will lead the charge in cultivating strategic partnerships Key Accounts and driving revenue growth.
Job Responsibility:
As part of the Merchant team, you will play a key role in building and strengthening the Key Accounts vertical.
- Manage a portfolio of 10+ large merchants, acting as the primary point of contact for all operational and strategic matters.
- Also lead and manage Brand Alliances with National OEM across segments like Mobiles & Consumer Durables.
- Take ownership of revenue targets for the assigned accounts and work relentlessly to meet and exceed these targets.
- Collaborate closely with the merchants to understand their needs and challenges, with a focus on improving Transaction Success Rates (TSRs).
- Develop and execute a comprehensive weekly/fortnightly cadence with the merchants to ensure alignment on targets, action items, and strategies for achieving goals.
- Strategize and plan for peak seasons and sales events in collaboration with the merchants to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Work in tandem with the Lender & Portfolio Team to devise compelling offers such as brand EMI, no-cost EMI, and cashbacks, aimed at enhancing merchant sales.
- Present new and innovative products to the merchants, demonstrating how these offerings can positively impact their business and sales.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and activation of new Lenders within the merchant network, expanding the array of financing options available to customers.
- Cultivate and nurture enduring relationships with key stakeholders at the merchant companies, becoming a trusted partner in their business growth.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6+ years of proven experience in key accounts, enterprise sales, and account management, with a focus on tech, digital, or financial product accounts.
- Recent 4+ years of hands-on experience in the BNPL/Fintech/Payments domain, showcasing your in-depth understanding of the industry landscape.
- 2+ years' experience in Brand EMI management is a plus.
- Successful track record in selling fintech, payments, or BNPL solutions in a sales capacity, providing a competitive edge.
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities, enabling you to develop comprehensive account strategies.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, allowing you to address client challenges creatively.
- Ability to excel in an individual contributor role, driving initiatives independently.
- Proficiency in data analysis to uncover insights and drive data-driven decisions.
