Position Title: Head IT-Sr Manager Level
Reports to: CFO (Who also takes care of IT) and also work closely with Global IT Teams
Job Location: Bangalore
Experience: 6 - 12 Years
Qualification: Engineering in Computer Science or MCA
Direct Reportees: 3-4 team members
Salary: Not a constrain for the right candidate
Basic Function:
1. To lead the Information and Technology Function.
2. Leverage technology to support business operations and improve customer value proposition.
3. Drive the design and implementation of organization-wide, safe and secure IT network and ensure connectivity across all functions and locations.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate the short-term and long-term IT strategy for the organization aligned to the overall organization vision/ mission, business strategy and objectives
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovative practices and processes especially in the area of Information Technology at both the national and global level and evaluate the feasibility of implementation of the same within the organization; Provide these as recommendations to Senior Management
- Drive the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service level guidelines, policies and processes pertaining to IT operations
- Drive compliance to IT policies and processes by users across all functions and regions
- Oversee the identification and evaluation of various IT packages available in the market (in coordination with user departments) and support the business teams in procurement and implementation of the same
- Drive implementation of IT initiatives/ projects as per plan and within the allocated budget. Ensure setup of mechanisms across the various locations for on-time support to internal and external customers on their IT issues / queries
- Ensure network and data security and compliance to the Information Security Policy at all locations
- Lead efforts to ensure reliability of IT systems, hardware and Electronic Network at all locations
- Oversee the continuous updation, maintenance and troubleshooting of internal applications and provision of support to internal and external customers on their IT issues / queries
- Oversee the preventive maintenance of all equipment / facilities and the timely renewal of software licenses
- Oversee coordination with the Audit Committee for conduct of audit of performance of the IT functional operations and undertake appropriate action to ensure that the desired service levels are maintained
People management responsibilities:
- Provide direction, guidance and support to team
- Mentor coach and develop the team capabilities
