Senior Manager - IT Head - Manufacturing

A 700 Crore company (part of a 5000 crore group company) into manufacturing of Precision Components, Sheet Metal, Plastics, Storage Solutions and FMCG is looking for a IT Head in their Head Office in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

Title of Role holder: IT Head

Qualification: BE (Computers), MCA, MBA Preferred, Desirable Qualification: BE, MCA/MBA

Years of experience Required for this role Minimum Exp.: 13 years

Type of Experience required for this role: IT Application experience in Manufacturing companies

Grade Range of this Role as per Organization Charts: Sr. Manager - M06

Reporting: MD and CIO

Purpose of this Role

- Own and Drive IT for the company and its associated divisions

- Manage all IT Verticals of the company like IT Applications, Infrastructure and Security

- Drive Multiple Automation Projects to drive automated manufacturing and analytics by leveraging new age technologies for multiple divisions like Sheet Metal, Fasterners, Foods and Storage Solutions

- Manage IT Infrastructure for 8 Manufacturing Plants and Multiple Offices across Tirupati, Chitoor and Petammita

- Leverage IT Shared Service Organization for deployment of new IT Solutions

- Drive Digitization and Automation in critical functions like Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales and Finance

Responsibilities of this role

- Own and Drive IT initiatives for all divisions of the company

- Support the companies Leadership in driving growth and other Initiatives

- Drive Multiple Projects for Digitization and Automation in critical functions like Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales and Finance

- Drive automation of Manufacturing Plants including connected Machines by leveraging technologies like MES, IOT, Cloud and Mobility

- Support Userbase of around 700+ for their IT requirements in IT Infrastructure, Applications and IT Security

- Manage Mangal IT Infra Budgets to Utilize Capex effectively and minimize Opex Spend

- Leverage New technologies to drive 24- 7 mobility and Increase Productivity

- Define IT Standards and Best Practice Security Processes for IT Projects and Support and ensure Compliance

- Develop relationship with Vendors to drive timely delivery on Projects and support assignments

- Work with IT Shared Service Organizations to deploy new IT Technologies across the company

- Build strong BCP/DR, Near DR and Far DR Capabilities and drive redundancy to achieve > 99.9% uptime

- Drive organization wide compliance to ISMS Policies and Procedures

Age required to perform this role Minimum Age: 32 years

Desirable Age: 36-38 years

Knowledge:

- Experience in Leading IT organization for a company of size 1000Cr, 1000+ User base

- Experience in driving multiple Automation Projects for Manufacturing Plants including Digital Manufacturing using technologies like MES, IoT, Cloud and Mobility

- Extensive experience in IT Application Project Management

- Experience in managing IT infrastructure for multiple locations, plants and offices
