Senior Manager - Investor Relations/Strategic Finance - Healthcare/Pharma

Role:

This role is that of a Senior Manager handling Investor relations, Strategic Finance and other Sustainability initiatives. This role reports to the Head of Corporate Finance within the Organization

Client:

Our client is an an innovation led global pharmaceuticals company engaged in developing high quality, affordable products that can expand access to a cutting-edge class of therapies to patients globally

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Relations:

1. Preparing analyst/ investor communication materials for earnings call, investor conferences, preparation of presentations for quarterly analyst meets and for investor conferences / roadshows

Formulating investment story of the company which highlights the long-term value drivers and sourcing relevant information from the company to highlight key value drivers of the company to the investor community

2. Quarterly Earnings Reporting - leading key aspects of quarterly earnings reporting including working with functional leaders for market facing deliverables including tracking investor profiles and shareholding patter

3. Track industry dynamics and macro-economic drivers

Management Updates on competitive intelligence: Provide research and summaries on peer companies

Strategic Finance & Sustainability

1. Support in financial modelling and strategic transactions

2. Coordinate across the organization to drive sustainability (ESG) initiatives

3. Prepare reporting materials for ESG such as Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) submission

Education:

1. Master's degree in finance or MBA

2. Degree in Pharma/Science with experience in Strategic Finance

Skills Sets Required:

- 3-7 years of work experience in Strategic Finance, investment Banking and/or equity research, with good understanding of capital markets and the pharmaceutical industry

- Highly resourceful team player with ability to be extremely effective independently

- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and ability to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business

- Strong organization skills with ability to perform, prioritize multiple task seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

- Ability to exercise good judgement in various situations with strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
