Senior Manager - Internal Assurance - BFSI

Our client is a leading Indian Insurance company. We are currently looking for a skilled professional who has worked in Internal audit and assurance.

As a Senior Manager in Internal Assurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring strong internal controls and effective risk management. You'll create plans for audits, coordinate internal control testing, and implement strategies for fraud detection. Your insights will be vital in engaging with stakeholders and providing updates to leadership.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Internal Audits:

- Develop risk-based plans for audits.

- Work with the teams to complete audits efficiently.

Internal Control Framework Testing:

- Plan tests for internal controls across departments.

- Ensure timely completion of control testing.

Stakeholder and Audit Committee Management:

- Connect with stakeholders regularly, understanding their needs.

- Keep stakeholders and committees updated on progress.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Chartered Accountant with 7+ years post-qualification experience.

- Strong grasp of financials, audits, and controls.

- Leadership and communication skills.

- Proficiency in problem-solving and analytics.

- Experience in financial services/insurance is preferred.
