Overall responsibility for Business Systems design, development, implementation, and support within the enterprise environment. This includes the operation, monitoring, support, recovery, security and compliance of all designated applications and services provided to the business.

Reporting to - Vice President - IT

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with Heads to develop cost effective business solutions within the RIL Technology strategy framework. This includes:

- Shopping mall Technology

- Website, Loyalty Program, CRM Technology

- Develop systems development / implementation standards and methods

- Provide programme management for assigned strategic business systems initiatives

- Ensure a working environment that enhances performance, is constantly maintained.

- Provide customer assistance and support facilitates relating to all information technology assets

- Ensure proper support services process and escalation to support business users.

- Ensure business continuation strategy and plans are reviewed and certified annually

- Provide proactive capacity plans and upgrades to enterprise technology platforms.

- Provide the highest level of system availability and services through mutually agreed upon service level agreements.

- Training needs analysis.

- Quality liaison and communication with internal and external suppliers.

- Strategic planning and objective setting.

- Budget and finance control.

- Ensure optimum system availability and performance

Desired Functional Skills :

- Software project implementation

- ERP - SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX/D365

- POS - Any POS application deployed and supported (Deployment is key)

- ECOM - Website deployed, Integrated with ERP systems

- CRM & Loyalty Program deployment

- Data WH projects

- Open leadership style that encourages feedback and allows the team to discuss ideas and make decisions.

Education & Experience Required:

- Educated to degree level in an IT / ITIL - Service Management (minimum foundation level).

- At least 7 years relevant experience in an IT department environment.

- A proven record of accomplishment developing and managing a number of high performance in house/outsource technical teams. (minimum 5 years' experience)

- Experience of budget management and control

- Experience as part of a senior Team
