Sr Manager- IR

Location- Goa

Role: 30% HR | 70% IR

CTC: 30 Lacs

Client: 5-Star Hotel

Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring Industrial peace and harmony by having a good and healthy relationship with all employees and Contract labors.

- Manage Time office and attendance management system.

- Handle wage settlements and annual increments for Workmen/Supervisory cadre

- Up to date with current IR Legislation and amendments and to ensure the same is being updated in the Policies and SOPs.

- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory/labor compliances.

- Managing Absenteeism: Regular monitoring of Department-wise Absenteeism & Leave data and ensuring immediate disciplinary actions for absenteeism cases.

- Contract Labour management: Ensuring Bonafede Contracts (Agreements) with the concerned parties and also timely renewal of all Annual Contracts. To ensure complete compliance as per the Contract Labour Act.

- Ensuring Harmonious relationships between management and employees by addressing grievances on time and resolving them.

- Formulating effective welfare and discipline policies and procedures.

- Initiating proactive IR strategies.

- Hire workman

- Guide management on local labor/union issues for smooth operations of the business.

- Provide support to & guide HODs to handle disciplinary issues.

- Provide advice/training in grievance handling and disciplinary procedures to line managers.

- Work closely with the Procurement Team on the criteria for Selection of Manpower Supply agencies with a focus on their ability to deliver in terms of quality of people and legal compliance.

- Ensure governance for contract labor management and manage the relationship with vendors to achieve the business objectives. - Improve the prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses with the message of commitment

- To devise site ER strategy in line with organizational ER strategy and execute the same in collaboration with HR teams

- Liaison with statutory authorities related to Labour compliances (Labour commissioner/Inspector, PF)
