Senior Manager - Industrial Hygiene - Water Treatment/Waste Management

Job Responsibilities :

- To serve as the Industrial Hygiene subject matter expert across the region (India and SEA) by providing technical expertise on all related matters.

- Provide guidance to line management on implementing internal Industrial Hygiene standards, industry consensus standard /guidance and for establishing sound construction safety management systems.

- To provide technical support on development of internal Industrial Hygiene standards or improvements for existing standards.

- To provide technical consulting support for the development of internal IH competencies throughout the organization by coordinating and conducting various training, coaching, consulting sessions.

- To improve the Industrial Hygiene hazard recognition skills of line management through participation in line walks, audits, etc.

- To establish a uniform Industrial Hygiene management system across the organisation

- To assist line management and field safety professionals in monitoring legal compliance to local statutory requirements.

- To assist in global networking and sharing best practices between different agencies and TSE.

- To improve communication and deployment of Industrial Hygiene management systems and standards across the region.

Qualification, Experience & Skills :

- Post Graduate - Industrial Hygiene or equivalent with 8 - 12 years work experience in Industrial Hygiene or equivalent and/or within a workplace safety organization from any manufacturing especially from Water Treatment/waste Management industries.

- Should have done Implementation of comprehensive Industrial Hygiene programs within an integrated steel plant or other industry sector with high hazard operations.

- Should have knowledge of safety standards and various applicable legal and other requirements on IH

- Should have analytical, decision making skills, ability to influence management, excellent verbal and written communications, honest, energetic, speed and agility, assertive

- Should have knowledge of national and international HSE standards, Health and safety related risk assessment, industrial hygiene, chemical hazards and reactions, electricity, industrial maintenance processes and fire technology

- Should have knowledge in laws and regulations relating to Health, Safety and Environment, Knowledge of health and safety, training techniques, laws, codes, and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety
