Senior Manager-II (Capacity Planning,Supply Chain)


About the role :


- This Role is primarily responsible for Capacity Planning with Improved manpower planning process to optimize for Cost, Speed and Reliability as well as program management of the new initiatives.


- Role requires a deep understanding of the eCommerce supply chain and People skills.


- It will be Challenging, Demanding and will also give rare opportunity to work in heavy volumetric supply chain in a well established company

What you'll do :

- LM and FM Planning

- Monthly HC and Capacity planning for LM, Capacity plan for the sale events (May Sale/BBD etc)

- Ensuring Ops stability for Last Mile, Right capacity in VSL & Risk mitigation (by ADM/3PL offload/SLA increase/capacity action)

- Responsible for timely capacity creation & stakeholder management HR, ADM, Zonal Ops, 3PL Ops and Planning

- Owner of Holiday marking and availability inputs for capacity planning, Monthly Holiday Calendar & Monthly availability - input sharing with Planning

- Monthly Tracking: DA/CU/Productivity, HC/Van/Spillage/Availability/Sale planning/ External/Returns/HC

- VSL and Theia Slot capacity upload (Template prep, zonal alignment, deficit resolution and validation of final capacities)

- Hub Consolidation and Network optimization

- Quality and Design Initiatives:

- Cross-functional collaboration and scale-up of Quality and Design Initiatives

- Manage quality metrics for loss reduction (Material handling and Audits)

- Be the bridge between Design and Ops team to translate pilot to BAU operations

- Cost Program

- LM CPS Reduction ; Identify levers and drive projects to reduce Variable LM Cost (eg: New model expansion, Flex CA-MH, Van cost reduction etc.)

- Loss Reduction and E2E reconciliation (LM+FM)

- Learning and sharing of best practices across zones wrt cost optimization

- Lead analytics projects to identify the issues and drive continuous improvement

- Projects for increasing speed and reducing spillage, exploring new levers for the same, and support execution on the ground: SOP alignment, Sunday & Holiday working, Beat Frequency, Beat consolidation etc)

- Lead all new projects related to Speed, Cost and Quality improvement

What you'll need :

- B.E. + MBA in Supply chain and Operations Preferred

- 7 to 10 years of work experience in Operations/Logistics

- Sound knowledge of logistics Operations

- Excellent data analytics skills

- Good Stakeholder and Team Management skills
