JOB PURPOSE - The main function of this role is to facilitate and make available the fair value hierarchy to country finance of all fair value financial instruments after VC asset class review.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

To assist the Senior Manager to ensure that the IFRS reporting responsibilities as a function are met.

These include :

- VC-IFRS obtain the fair value hierarchy from the various VC asset classes of all fair value instruments after the monthly IPV process.

- Performs checks to ensure no submission errors or conflicts.

- Make results available via a database for country finance to use in their submission to group finance.

- Ensure that missing deals/deals not in TP system which are provided by country finance are tagged and updated into the database.

- Reconciliation of numbers between VC and country finance.

- Assist group finance reviewing and commentary of the results submitted by country finance and disclosure in financial statements.

KNOW HOW AND EXPERIENCE :

- Educated to degree level; preferably with a Finance / Business OR Financial Engineering background OR Master's degree in a quantitative subject.

- Experience of Global Markets treasury products (covering All Global Markets products)

- Strong IT skills. In particular Excel, VBA, SQL and functional programming.

- Ability to work under constant pressure to tight deadlines and deliver high quality output.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels both written (report and guideline writing) and verbally.

- Analytical and challenging mind-set.
