Major Roles:
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Lead the recruitment strategy for blue-collar roles.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies and work with local agencies, job boards, and recruitment platforms to attract talent.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to candidate screening and onboarding.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and external staffing agencies to ensure staffing needs are met promptly.
Industrial Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for industrial relations issues, ensuring smooth relations between employees and management.
- Resolve disputes, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Work with unions (if applicable) and ensure collective bargaining agreements are adhered to.
- Advise leadership on legal matters, labor laws, and union activities affecting operations.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies related to blue-collar workers.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor standards.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor legislation and implement necessary policy adjustments.
- Ensure all legal documentation and employee records are maintained in compliance with regulatory standards.
Payroll Management:
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll for employees.
- Manage payroll discrepancies and resolve issues related to wages, overtime, and benefits.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure deductions and taxes are processed correctly.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (e., taxes, Provident Fund, etc.) and timely submission to relevant authorities.
General HR Management:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters.
- Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective HR operations.
- Conduct employee training programs on company policies, health and safety, and compliance matters.
- Monitor employee performance and assist with performance appraisals, promotions, and discipline.
- Support employee engagement and retention programs, ensuring a positive work culture.
Employee Benefits & Welfare:
- Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, leave management, and retirement plans.
- Provide advice to employees on benefits, compensation, and other HR-related matters.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate and maintain HR reports, including recruitment statistics, turnover rates, and other key HR metrics.
- Provide insights to senior management regarding workforce trends, needs, and improvements.
