Our client is an AIF and we are looking for a seasoned HR professional for their Mumbai office. Details as below :
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the group's business goals and drive organizational performance.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team across all business units.
- Align HR policies and practices with the overall corporate strategy.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract high-calibre talent.
- Develop and implement talent management and succession planning programs.
- Ensure effective onboarding processes to integrate new employees into the organization.
Performance Management;
- Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee performance and development.
- Ensure consistent application of performance appraisal processes across all business units.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management issues.
Employee Development and Training:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive training and development programs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Implement leadership development programs to build the organization's leadership pipeline.
Compensation and Benefits;
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure compensation packages are competitive.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
- Manage employee relations issues and ensure fair and consistent application of policies.
- Implement employee engagement surveys and develop action plans based on feedback.
HR Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations across all jurisdictions.
- Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in legislation and business needs.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
- Develop and implement programs to ensure a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Monitor diversity metrics and report on progress.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Develop and track key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on HR-related metrics and trends.
- Use data-driven insights to inform HR strategy and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a HR BP role, preferably in a multi-business unit organization.
Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Proven experience in talent management, performance management, and employee development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
