Our Client is looking for an experienced Manager HR & Admin to provide professional, efficient, and proactive leadership of Human Resources with statutory experience and Admin Functions in our Pillaipakkam plant and Head office. Working closely with Management, plant head, and department heads. This position for someone wanting to lead, drive and significantly contribute to business performance of organisation.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
This position has high accountability and reports directly to the Management must be a leader, strategic thinker, effective people manager, problem-solver and self-starter who demonstrates accountability for results.
Statutory:
- Counsel management on policy interpretation and legal awareness, Advises and investigates violations of our policies and local labour laws.
- Prepares the research, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
- Administer local benefit programs (NEEM etc.), ensuring compliance with government regulations and reporting.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and regulations.
Talent Acquisition, Recruitment & On-Boarding:
- Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession planning,
- Create organisation culture with diverse talents Gen Z and manufacturing environment.
- Drive Organisation end to end recruitment proactively and close the position within the timeline.
- Work with Dept. Heads and understand the requirement and hire as per organisation and position requirement.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new employee with all required facilities, information and equipment.
Employee Training & development:
- Ensure Minimum Training Man-days per employee/year to be as per the regulatory guidelines and targets defined.
- Develop and implement training programs including, product training, digital training, behavioural training to ensure consistent service standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance management systems, periodical review with Dept. heads and employees, feedback and development.
- Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics, trends, and insights to inform strategic planning.
Employee Benefits and Welfare:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, etc.
- Develop compensation and benefit plans.
Admin:
- Manage all Admin activities of Factory and Head office.
- Create and ensure all admin vendor, inhouse audits conducted, reviewed and reported timely manner.
- Manage the internal process and records of the employee on-boarding through off-boarding process including personnel promotions, transfers, employee relations, trainings, resignations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with MBA / MLM / MSW with relevant experience
- 15+ years' experience in Human Resources and Administration, preferably from Medical or manufacturing background
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skill
