Leading Hospitality MNC in Hospitality Requires (Senior Manager - Human Resource) - Mumbai (Mumbai - Airports - International & Domestic)

With the ease of contemporary travel making- the world a smaller place, and with an increase in all forms of travel, we believe it is essential today to identify the needs of travellers and then create relevant and meaningful solutions for them. In this day and age, airports and other travel and transit venues are melting pots of diverse cultures and identities - where people from varied walks of life congregate.

For frequent travellers, these venues are often like a second home. We always endeavour to create solutions that provide travellers with greater choice, comfort and convenience. We are constantly working to dispel the notion that extra time at transit venues can be tedious and taxing and are actively changing the very way in which people perceive travel

The client is a hospitality brand an initiative aimed at creating businesses within the Food & beverage and accommodation sectors.

We are looking for Sr.MGR - HR for Mumbai International & Domestic Airports

The details are as follows :

Client : Leading Hospitality Set Up

Location : Mumbai Airports (International & Domestic)

Experience : 7- 10 years in HR (Generalist & Payroll Management ) with an organization of Repute( FMCG/ Retail/ Hospitality / Banking/ Service sector)

Qualification : Graduation with Full Time MBA(HR) / Management from a reputed Institution i.e TISS/ XLRI/IIM's/NMIMS /MDI & Others

Qualification from a reputed Institution / College

Should have managed head count of over 100 employees & Payroll Management

Reporting Relationship :

Reports directly to : VP- HR

Manages directly - AM's,Mgr's, Executives

Qualifications, Education And Attributes :

Qualifications :

MBA HR (Full time) +7- 10 years exp in all the HR function (Generalist, TA, Payroll Management)

Recruitment :

- Understanding staffing needs in consultation with Functional Heads and preparing job descriptions for new roles/positions in the organization

- Coordinating with consultants and explaining them requirements of a position

- Scheduling interviews by coordinating with interviewer and interview

- Conducting preliminary interview and assessing candidate's suitability for organization Involved in salary negotiation with the selected candidate Performing reference check of candidates to ensure their authenticity .

- Follow-up regularly with selected candidate till joining . Generating weekly MIS report pertaining to recruitment

- Performing passive recruitment for critical positions and maintaining database of suitable candidates

- Monitoring attrition and taking initiatives to counter the same

Training & Development :

- Conducting induction and training program for new hires Identifying training needs of employees through mapping of skills required for different roles and analysis of the existing skill-set

- Developing training calendar and coordinating training in accordance with the same

- Designing training modules and conducting training on HR policies and procedures

- Obtaining feedback from trainees and incorporating- the same in future trainings to ensure greater benefit to the participants Conducting post training assessment to check effectiveness of training

- Centralizing, maintaining and updating records pertaining to training -Identify training need and arrange for soft skill & tech skill training program

- Tie up with training academy and online registration

- Train the subordinate and coworkers - managers through self training program, webinar, etc. Intiatiate OD activities Celebration & Achievement Parties & Team Building programmes

Performance Management :

- Coordinating performance evaluation of employees through performance management system

- Identifying people with critical competencies and planning and initiating actions to retain them (by way of job rotations, rewards and recognitions etc.

- Assisting in growth plans of high potential employees to enhance their skill-set as part of succession planning

- Initiating measures that improve the performance consistently Review Performance of employees, quarterly/halfyearly.

- Initiate training whenever required and guide the Project Managers to handle Recommend for Pay Revision/Role

- Change/confirmation/Rewards/Recognition/Exit

- Employee Relations and other responsibilities

- Addressing the grievances/issues of the employees and keeping the motivation level high among the employees

- Ensuring ergonomic working conditions for employees, Formulating policies and procedures pertaining to leave, advances, compensation, benefits, rewards and other issues under the purview of HR department

- Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)pertaining to HR department

- Coordinating employee engagement activities and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives like free eye check-up and dental check-up camps etc. by the organization

- Coordinating counseling sessions on personal and professional issues of employees by external agencies

Policy Formulation & Implementation :

- Prepare HR Policy suitable to the organisation and as per Industry standards

- Prepared Travel Policy, Comp off Policy, Referral policy and Access Card police

- Personal and Professional record maintenance in hard& soft copies Maintain Skillset Matrix

- Leave verification on a daily basis & provide necessary advice to managers to authorise/reject leave request

Exit Policies :

- Conduct Exit Interviews & work towards retention of employees Complete exit formalities and issue relieving order and service certificate and handle reference for the resigned employees.

Statutory Compliance :

- Payroll Management & policies

- Advice the subordinate to maintain labour registers as per statutory requirement

- Responsible for PF, ESI,Payroll,Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund and for any new amendments as per Shops & Establishment Act.
