Job Description/ Brief Outline of the Expectations from the Role:
- Act as the owner for all employee data for the respective BU by ensuring timely update, availability & accuracy of employee data in various HR systems. -
- Work closely with the central HR teams to ensure recurring processes viz., payroll, IJP, employee salary inputs are provided on time with 100% accuracy. -
- Act as the face of the organization to the employees wherever they have day-day queries, grievances and resolve them within 48 hours (stipulated TAT) working together with respective leadership & central teams.
- Own key employee metrics for respective BUs, come up with regular interventions to help improve them.
- Employee Lifecycle Management and Engagement: - Facilitate and support business change and performance across supported groups through the implementation of an effective people strategy; influence significant business decisions through a close partnership with a team leader and his/her leadership team.
- Work closely with recruitment team to come up with hiring strategy for respective BUs. Ensure JDs, Competency frameworks for respective BUs are available and up-to date by working with respective manager. Assist in recruitment as required ( interviews, debriefs etc.,).
- Come up with structured induction program for respective BUs and executes them seamlessly(Owns BU level induction)
- Stay well connected with the respective employee cohort to gauge the pulse / mood of the employees. Apply analytical ability to highlight & call out what is working well and what isn't and design interventions to arrest disengagement/ enhance retention of key talent.
- Work closely with the business leaders to shape the culture of the BU
- Work closely with the business leaders to plan and finalise workforce planning, Business workflow, overlaying org design and org structures, reporting relationships for the BU along with respective manager
- Own and implement employee performance management and talent actions and reward decisions for the BU.
- Assist with retention strategies for key talent. Support the development of employees through the execution of career planning, progressions and talent reviews - Partner with the Talent Management to deliver talent management practices that attract and develop high-potential, diverse talent for the business unit.
- Actively identify learning needs based on 1:1 conversation and pass them on to the learning team and ensure that the capabilities are developed.
