Senior Manager/Head - Production Planning - Mfg

Role Deliverables:

Functional Competency:

- Coordinating for production planning of multiple plants geographically located in different states of India.

- Production planning as per customer requirements in coordination with marketing & sales department for daily / monthly dispatches. Finalize the Monthly / Weekly / Daily production plan based on marketing inputs, sales forecast and current orders- Domestics, Export, plant capacity & communicate accordantly.

- Daily / weekly / monthly production planning & inventory reports preparation & communication of the same to stake holders.

- Ensure smooth flow of input material & delivery of customers by maintaining a good balance between supply and demand.

- Establish routes and schedules for work that will ensure the optimum utilization of materials, workers and machine to provide the means for ensuring the operation of the plant in accordance with these plans.

- Monitor production results and ensures on-time delivery and appropriate inventory levels.

- Maintain the due dates of open shop orders on a daily basis and communicate schedule changes to the shop floor. Release shop orders as scheduled and generate the appropriate shop order documentation.

- To maintain optimum level of total inventory in the form of raw material, WIP and finished goods. To conduct regular reviews with all plant heads and sales team for all elements of total inventory in order to avoid obsolesce of any item.

- Apply appropriate optimization methodologies to balance service level inventory, and resource utilization using advanced planning tools like SAP.

- Co-ordination with central purchase & plant planning departments for RM / PM tracking.

- Ensure the compliance of OHSAS, EMS, ISO.

- Must have expertise in SAP - PP module

- Strong exposure to manufacturing.

Qualification : Graduate Engineer, preferred MBA

Years of Experience : 08 - 12 years of experience in PPC
