- The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing the IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) department.


- The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of intellectual property management, including trademarks, copyrights, patent research, registration, drafting, disputes, negotiations, technology transfer and other legal activities.


- This role also involves leading and training a team, as well as contributing to R&D initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patent Research: Conduct thorough research to identify and assess potential patents. Analyze existing patents and market trends to guide IP strategy.

- Patent Right Registration: Manage the patent application process, ensuring that patents are filed correctly and timely. Oversee the registration and maintenance of intellectual property rights.

- Patent Drafting: Develop detailed patent drafts and documents. Ensure that patent applications meet all legal and technical requirements.

- Disputes: Handle and resolve patent-related disputes, including infringement cases and conflicts. Collaborate with legal teams to develop strategies for dispute resolution.

- Training to the Team: Provide training and development opportunities for the IPR team. Ensure that team members are well-informed about the latest trends and best practices in intellectual property management.

- Legal Activities: Oversee and manage all legal activities related to intellectual property. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

- R&D Contribution: Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate intellectual property considerations into research and development processes. Support innovation by protecting new ideas and technologies

Qualification & Experience:

- Any graduate with TRIZ Certification with 15 years experience in intellectual property management, including patent research, registration, and drafting. Experience in handling disputes and legal activities related to IP is essential.

Skills:


- Strong knowledge of patent laws and IP regulations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in integrating IP strategies with R&D activities.

Preferred Attributes:

- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Engineering, Science).

- Experience in a similar role within a technology or manufacturing company.

- Familiarity with international patent systems and regulations.
