Job Responsibilities:

- Performing finance partnering activities at a management level to support strategy and decision making with critical business insights, supporting one or more Commercial Business Unit Directors & their teams.

- Provides financial information and insight for forecasting, planning and controlling costs to the business. Focus is on financial accounting/analysis to support achievement of internal business goals. May be responsible for budgetary control system and business performance analysis.

- Develops, implements and maintains the financial plans and policies of the organization. Establishes fiscal controls, prepares financial reports, maintains relations with investment and banking communities, advises management on financial affairs and assists in long-range planning. Responsibilities may include accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections

The role includes:

- Strategy & Performance Management

- Assist with Market/Business Unit Strategy, Support development of overall strategy for Business Unit and drive strategic business plan

- Full P&L understanding and management (Business performance and risk management)

- Integration of 3rd party relationships for 3rd party arrangements

- Gross to Net / overall pricing

- Strategic Portfolio Analysis, Market Understanding, Brand Portfolio Analysis, Established Portfolio Optimization and management

- Product Profitability, Margin Enhancement, operationalize Marketing ROI generated by Insights and Analytics (I&A), Operationalize Field force ROI generated by I&A,

- Contract Optimization, Resource allocation for the Business Unit

- People Development, Support development of a strong Finance Business Partnering organization

- Member of the Business Unit leadership teams (Corporate Leadership Team members)

- Assist with Management presentations

- Cross function matrix navigation & management

Preferred Qualifications/expectations:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- MBA (with heavy finance components) or equivalent experience

- Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or local equivalent)

- Managed P&L end to end managing risks and opportunities

- Developing highly effective working relationships and managing key stakeholders to achieve the partnership status with your business

- Financial leadership experience at various levels

- Demonstrated ability to display key attributes of successful finance partnering including:

- Experience leading teams

- Understanding of financial systems and processes

- Agile and distributed decision-making - using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigor and risk.

- Managing individual and team performance.

- Implementing change initiatives and leading change.

- Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
