Senior Manager/General Manager - Estimation

Responsibility:

- Estimation for current and upcoming Solar & Wind projects, taking appropriate assumptions, driving and challenging current practices for driving cost down, understanding of cost sensitiveness.

- Understanding of costing, its constituents, trends of data sources, collection and analysis to generate relevant reports, supporting peers for negotiation with comparative data across suppliers ' internal estimates

- Understanding of key commodities in renewable space, its past trends, likely future trends, key players, primary and secondary market, global tariffs and trade, sensitivity of the project wrt commodities

- Responsible for data analytics, Intelligence matrix and MIS preparation for commodities, market positioning, competitiveness, Business Intelligence etc.

- Ability to carryout sensitivity analysis wrt to variables in individual and collective levels

- Overall lead for Audits and compliances and cost control identify factors affecting costs, such as production time, materials, and labour

- Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates

- Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors

- Calculate, analyze, and adjust estimates.

- Recommend ways to reduce costs/optimization.

- Stake holder management
