Our client is one of the leading private sector Life Insurance Company. It is listed on National stock exchange (NSE) and Bombay stock exchange (BSE).

Designation : Senior Manager - Financial Reporting - U.S. GAAP & IFRS

Purpose: The primarily responsibility is performing an end to end US GAAP reporting to Parent Companies & financial reporting to internal stakeholders.

Key Accountability:

- Financial statements & relevant disclosures as per US GAAP guidelines and instructions from Parent Company

- Annual review with CFO & Department head of US GAAP deliverables

- Ensure that timely and accurate US GAAP reporting to Audit Committee and Parent Company

- Financial statements & other deliverables as per IFRS framework and instructions from Parent Company

- Half-yearly review by CFO & department head on the IFRS deliverables to Parent Company

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to Parent Company

- Ensure timely & accurate quarterly reporting to Actuarial team

- Quarterly review with CFO & Department Head on deliverables to Audit Committee and Parent Company

- Act as point of contact for technical queries on Accounting Standard, IND AS, Companies Act, SEBI & IRDAI Regulation etc.

- Study and evaluation of Ind AS and assist in transition to Ind AS

- Ensure compliance with SOX framework

Competencies (Knowledge & Skills):

- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS word

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving

- Attention to detail

- Knowledge of IND AS & Accounting Standards
