Key Result Areas :
Preparation of Financial Statements :
1. Timely preparation of financial statements of the company on monthly, quarterly and annual basis as per Indian GAAP.
2. Follow-up with all various teams within accounts department and peruse them to closing all entries within the timelines give.
3. Analysis of financial statement on monthly basis, Finding of any deviation, change in trend in expenditure, revenue and other items.
4. Review of the financials with at team level before closing of the financials statement, Highlighting of special and exception item for the month. Resolve accounting discrepancies if any find during the course of review of financial
5. Preparation of the related party disclosure as per As-18
6. Monthly Cash Flow, Contingent Liability summary as per Indian GAAP requirements
7. Keeping update with respect to any change in laws, Indian GAAP
8. Preparation of the monthly segment for review of segmented profit and providing input to management
Managing the Quarterly and annual statutory audit process :
1. Planning and execution of the quarterly and annual statutory audits. Ensuring smoother and seamless closing of the statutory audits.
2. Attending auditors's queries and their requirement, having rounds of discussion with auditors to satisfied them their queries
3. Regularly interaction & discussion with auditors to understand their requirement and issue.
4. Bring entire account function at one platform and ensure timely closing of the books of accounts and statutory audits
5. Providing resolution to auditors for their queries, requirement within the timelines.
6. To update the senior member of team on audit update
7. To coordinate between different teams within finance and other departments for timely completion of audit.
8. Preparing necessary documents and other information for Quarterly audit, audit committee.
Regulatory and other MIS Reporting :
1. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of various reports as per MIS Calendar
2. Monthly Account reconciliation summary
3. Preparing various variance analysis reports for auditors and senior managements.
4. Preparation of monthly MIS Pack.
5. Preparing Service Tax reconciliation every month finding out any discrepancies if any.
6. Prepare the documents, audit committee presentation required for the quarterly board meeting from accounts.
7. Preparation and submission various reports required by ABC/Grasim
Analytics, update on Indian GAAP and others works :
1. Analytical review of the financials.
2. Review of the competitors financials and their trends
3. Strive for automation of process within MIS.
4. Analysis of the Indian GAAP requirements and its implementation.
5. Coordination with the respective team like HR, BA, Process excellence.
6. Keeping an eye on IRDA regulation
