Senior Manager - Financial Reporting - CA

Job Description:

Detailed Responsibilities:

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, adherence to accounting policies, accounting standards in line with Indian GAAPs/ Indian Accounting Standards

- Ensure timely and accurately month and quarter end reporting, collaboration and liasioning with different teams

- Preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting processes.

- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audits, addressing any audit findings or recommendations.

- Stay up-to-date with evolving financial reporting requirements and ensure timely compliance with regulatory changes.

- Establish and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting processes.

- Identify areas of potential risk and implement appropriate controls to mitigate financial reporting risks.

- Conduct periodic reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with internal control frameworks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- CA with 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting including exposure to Indian GAAPs and Accounts standards

- Working experience in Big 4 is preferred

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.

- Proficiency in financial reporting systems and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Effective communication skills, ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
