Role: FP&A Manager

Location: Gurgaon, India

Experience: 8-10 years

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance) from a Tier-1 college

Industry: FMCG

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the business.

- Develop and monitor KPIs, variance analysis, and provide insights for cost optimization and revenue growth.

- Support pricing strategies and product profitability analysis.

Business Partnering:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to drive business performance.

- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial insights.

- Work closely with the CFO and CEO in driving their strategic agenda and business review discussions.

Reporting & Performance Management:

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.

- Ensure accurate and timely MIS, P&L tracking, and management dashboards.

- Identify key business trends and support data-driven decision-making.

Cost & Efficiency Management:

- Monitor cost structures, margin analysis, and working capital optimization.

- Drive initiatives for cost reduction, process automation, and efficiency improvements.

- Manage working capital delivery to ensure financial discipline.

Competition Performance Tracking & Market Insights:

- Conduct competitive benchmarking and track market trends to identify risks and opportunities.

- Analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and financial performance to refine internal strategies.

- Provide insights into category growth, consumer behavior, and macroeconomic impacts.

Team Management & Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and Managers, ensuring strong performance and professional growth.

- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, skill development, and process improvements.

- Ensure collaboration between finance and cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making.

Key Requirements:

- 8-10 years of overall work experience with at least 2 years in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in an FMCG company.

- CA or MBA (Finance) from a Tier-1 college (IIM, ISB, FMS, XLRI, SP Jain, etc.).

- Strong understanding of P&L management, cost structures, and revenue drivers in FMCG.

- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and business partnering.

- Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, Excel, and data visualization tools.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

- Prior experience in sales finance, commercial finance, or supply chain finance in FMCG.

- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with leadership.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and automation.
