Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Media - CA

Responsibilities:

- Performing daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions related to Indian and US GAAP rules such as: BS and P&L accounting analysis, month-end close process and reporting, general accounting, Tax filings, and all related statutory obligation.

- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.

- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

- Interact globally on a cross-functional level, working with the corporate management team to align accounting best practices and work on ad hoc finance projects.

- Coordinating with internal business partners on monthly activities including a mix of accounting entry preparation and review, performing or reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of monthly operating expense metrics and variance and accounting analysis, accounting memo documentation.

- Custodian of controls designed around processes/ Guidelines and highlight any deviations & initiate corrective actions

- Managing relationships with third-party entities such as banks, accounting firms and third-party suppliers in matters related to the Accounting, Treasury and AP activities and help to execute projects to localize financial systems.

- Ensuring regulatory documentation and records appropriately, reflect the movement and value of assets and communicate with internal and external auditors.

- Working closely with external Audit firms for the closure of Audits in a timely fashion. Preferable to have worked in closing audits executed by BIG 4 Audit firms

Qualifications:

- CA/MBA (Mandatory, not accepting any other qualifications)

- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
