Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - FMCG

Our client is a huge food products conglomerate, leading the processed food business through its range of products, its internationally certified production facilities, the consistency of its quality, and its unmatched expertise in the industry. The company has partnered with a prominent food chain to become one of their biggest suppliers in India. They have a diversified client base across sectors including retail, institutional and QSR clients. They also have an international presence with products exported to Europe, Africa, Middle East, US and Australia.

As the Senior Manager FP&A, you will be responsible for a body of work with the objective to analyze, report and improve the company's financial planning and reporting function.

Your responsibilities are:

- Providing decision support for Senior Leadership with data and analysis for making key business decisions in terms of commercials, plant and Sales and also

- Generating in depth analysis and proposals on top line growth, cost of goods sold efficiencies etc.

- Diagnosing and influencing the key drivers of the business

- Partnering with Financial Operations teams (accounting, treasury, taxes) to ensure consistency throughout financial statements

- Conducting business/profitability analysis and assessment of decisions on financial and business results

- Creating strategic analysis of business line/unit profitability that allows for senior management to make strategic decisions regarding the allocation of resources to the business activity

- Advising on risk and opportunity considerations for managing cost and growing the revenue and profitability

- Providing decision support through modeling and analysis (e.g., operational business modeling)

- Developing, supporting and maintaining operational models driving financial impacts to the company

- Creating final performance reports, including business insights, ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to business unit leader

- Assisting in the preparation of management and investor presentations

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. business finance partners) and helping to troubleshoot finance-related issues

Candidate Profile:

- CA/MBA Finance from Tier 1/Tier 2 College (or) CFA preferred

- Demonstrable experience of 3-10 years in providing business analysis, and meaningful insights

- Business Partnering and Analysis Experience

- Understanding / work experience of financial and business analytical tools and finance related accountabilities

- Possess Strong end-to-end business knowledge (FMCG)

- Exposure to Plant Accounting/Commercial Accounting

- Flexible for extensive travel

- Ability to integrate and interpret disparate sources of data using broad range of analytical data tools.

- Able to incorporate use of statistical methodology and predictive modeling techniques

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Flexible for 6 days a week working structure
