Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager - FP&A to join our finance team. As a Senior Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support our company's growth and profitability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive key financial decisions and optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with business units and departments to develop detailed budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget vs. actual performance, identifying areas of concern and recommending corrective actions.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling to provide actionable insights for decision-making. Analyze key financial metrics and present findings to senior management.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, management dashboards, and presentations to communicate financial performance, trends, and forecasts to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Business Performance Review: Collaborate with business leaders to review and analyze departmental and business unit performance. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement, providing recommendations to improve overall financial performance.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of various business strategies, capital allocation decisions, and investment opportunities.
- Strategic Initiatives: Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships by conducting financial due diligence and feasibility studies.
- Risk Management: Evaluate financial risks and propose risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the company.
- Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date with relevant financial regulations and ensure adherence to all financial reporting requirements.
- Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to the FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of 10+ years in Financial Planning and Analysis within the NBFC industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
- Experience working in a regulated financial environment and a sound knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software.
