What you will be doing:

This position holder will work alongside different business units, providing financial information, analysis and insight to executives, helping them make more informed decisions and driving business strategy. This role will provide 'real time' support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.

Main Duties/Responsibilities :

- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.

- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.

- Ensure compliance with internal control policies.

- Coordinating all audit activity.

- Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud.

- Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns.

- Managing organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the BU Heads; collaborating with BU Heads to assess the financial efficacy of operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support operations.

- Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance

- Building partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams and providing financial support.

- Challenging current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible

- Dealing with and working through issues of conflict and operational challenges with project teams and other stakeholders

- Periodic Ledger Scrutiny

- Assist in preparing Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly books closure for MIS and Audit

- Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for any necessary entities

Professional Skills/Experience

Must have:

- Must have ability to make tangible connection between business and its financial performance.

- Well organized with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills;

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

- Work effectively and independently;

- Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks;

- Respond appropriately to evaluation and changes in the work setting;

- Participated in Finance transformation initiatives;

- Ability to manage external and internal relationships.

Qualification :

- CA/ICWAI or MBA from reputed institute with a minimum 9-10 years of experience in finance Operations & controllership.

- Should have hands on experience on MS excel and process improvement.
