Job Role: Senior Manager Financial Accounting & Tax Outsourcing Operations.
Location : Mumbai.
Experience: 10+ years.
Job Responsibilities:
- Over-sight, management, and development of staff accountants and related workflows.
- Interacting with/supporting the Partners, CFOs, and/or CEOs of client firms/companies and assisting them with the management of all accounting operations.
- Working with/supporting the senior management at client-end, with a view to stepping into managing client files directly and taking on end-client relationships directly.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Prepare and publish timely quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual MD&As.
- Preparation and/or review of working papers supporting financial statements and MD&As.
- Managing other regulatory reporting.
- Managing the audit/review processes with external auditors.
- Liaising with external tax advisors.
- Assisting with development and roll-out of Company templates.
- Assisting with the roll-out of Company strategic plans.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc requests; and.
- Perform other accounting, client-related, and/or administrative.
Purpose:
- Senior Manager will report directly to General Manager.
- Assistant Controller should be experienced in all aspects of financial management, including non -profit, partnership and corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
- Overall 10+ years' experience.
- Experience in working with IFRS.
- Proven experience as a manager or other similar position.
- Can be from an industry or a CA firm.
- Strong experience with preparing and reviewing financial statements (Experience in Auditing financial statements will be added advantage).
- Experience working in the industry/finance department is an asset.
- Experience with working with public companies and understanding public company reporting requirements is an asset.
- Exposure to Canada Individual (T1), Corporate (T2) and Trust (T3) tax returns will be added advantage (Not mandatory).
- Overseeing tax process and staff planning.
- Experience of working in international client set-ups will be added advantage.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate.
- Experience with various accounting software administration - Tally ERP/Sage/Xero/QBO/Caseware experience will be desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong IT skills and comfortable with working in a digitized environment.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially with Excel - (Pivot Tables/V-lookup).
- Well organized and capable of managing responsibilities.
- Self-motivated Reports to General Manager F&A.
