Senior Manager - Finance - Treasury


Finance:

- Arrangement of Funds: Responsible for sourcing funds for both day-to-day operations (working capital) and long-term projects (Project Finance) by establishing relationships with various banks and financial institutions.

- This involves negotiating terms, assessing borrowing requirements, and ensuring optimal utilization of available credit facilities.

- Investment Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and evaluating various investment options to maximize returns on surplus funds.

- This includes assessing risks, analyzing market trends, and making informed investment decisions aligned with organizational goals and risk appetite.

- Cash Management: Manage cash flow effectively by forecasting future cash positions, identifying potential shortfalls, and arranging necessary borrowing to meet operational needs.

- This involves monitoring cash inflows and outflows, optimizing liquidity, and minimizing the cost of funds.

- FX Hedging: Develop and implement strategies to hedge against foreign exchange rate fluctuations to mitigate risks associated with currency exposure.

- This includes assessing exposure levels, selecting appropriate hedging instruments, and monitoring the effectiveness of hedging strategies.

- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and credit rating agencies.

- This involves regular communication, negotiation of terms, and staying updated on market conditions and regulatory changes that may impact financing options or credit ratings.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by handling Credit Monitoring Arrangement (CMA) and other reporting obligations mandated by banks and regulatory authorities such as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

- This includes timely submission of reports and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

- Working Capital Control: Monitor and control components of working capital including receivables (debtors), payables (creditors), and inventories to optimize cash flow and liquidity.

- This involves implementing effective credit policies, managing inventory levels, and optimizing payment terms.

- Credit Management: Oversee credit limits for customers to minimize credit risk exposure while maintaining healthy customer relationships.

- This includes assessing creditworthiness, setting appropriate credit limits, and monitoring credit utilization to prevent defaults.

Accounts:

- Accounting Oversight: Supervise the accounting processes at the Head Office (HO) including consolidation of financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.

- Management Information System (MIS): Prepare and review Management Information System (MIS) reports for the HO and all locations, including General Ledger (GL) reviews, to provide timely and accurate financial information for decision-making purposes.

- Tax Calculation: Calculate income tax liabilities and Deferred Tax Liability (DTL) in accordance with tax laws and accounting standards.

- This involves analyzing financial data, applying relevant tax regulations, and ensuring accurate tax reporting.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEBI reporting, stock exchange regulations, and Companies Auditor's Report Order (CARO) compliances.

- This involves staying updated on regulatory changes, maintaining proper documentation, and submitting required reports in a timely manner.

- Results Analysis: Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators for presentation to credit rating agencies.

- This includes preparing comprehensive analyses and explanations to support credit rating assessments and investor relations activities.

- Presentation to Credit Rating Agencies: Prepare presentations and reports for credit rating agencies to facilitate credit rating assessments.

- This involves providing detailed financial information, explaining key financial metrics, and addressing any queries or concerns raised by the rating agencies.
