Sr Manager Finance
The Senior Manager:
Overview :
- Finance will serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team reporting directly to the Vice President Finance.
- This leader will be expected to deliver impactful business analysis and play a key part in driving business decisions and strategy. By way of first-class management reporting, diligent analyses, and strategic modeling, the Finance team plays a key role in partnering with the business and informing leadership of actual and projected performance, as well as analyzing business trends, changes, and new initiatives in a fast-paced and highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- This role is responsible for driving improvements in the quality of our work as the PowerSchool business grows organically and through acquisition. We are seeking a seasoned Finance professional with an entrepreneurial drive, strong leadership skills, and proven ability to partner with various business partners. Responsibilities

- Hire, train and manage a team of offshore Finance professionals in our Bangalore office, supporting global stakeholders in Finance and business functions.
- Oversee day-to-day operational functions for the Finance team in Bangalore, partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business and driving the Finance function as a proven center of analytical excellence
- Build and iterate on complex financial models covering all aspects of PowerSchool's operations that will enable effective decision making regarding the company's revenue growth strategy, cost structure, and capital expenditures
- Maintain and enhance efficiency of internal financial reporting processes, serving as a thought leader to upgrade reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement
- Establish, track and monitor key operating metrics used to drive the business to greater efficiency
- Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency and maximize ROI
- Help drive finance discipline, fact-based decision-making, and financial visibility
- Collaborate with operating teams and provide fact-based recommendations that support revenue growth targets and improve profitability, operating efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications :

Qualifications include :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Statistics; MBA and/or CA a plus
- 10+ years of Finance experience, out of which 5+ years must be in a managerial role; track record of Finance success in SaaS, license software and services industries strongly preferred
- Prior experience in working at an offshore Centre of Excellence supporting a global/US-based Finance team
- Excellent Excel modelling skills and experience using Salesforce, NetSuite, and Adaptive Planning strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with financial analysis and planning in a fast-paced dynamic company
