Senior Manager-Finance


- The role is to assist in building strong internal controls in revenue assurance area like money movement, policy issuance, premium, claims, commission, charges and reinsurance accounting, Highlighting all exceptions on timely basis for corrective action.

- Managing all the policyholders and vendor payouts. Ensuring accurate and timely payouts

- Contributing in Finalization of books, managing Auditors and reporting to regulator, Shareholders' and other internal stakeholders'

- Managing new projects in the Financial Controller's shop, giving guidance on the day to accounting and related activities to the Account payable and customer payout team and act as a custodian of all payouts, lead all Banking matters/initiatives and compliances with IRDA guidelines

Revenue Assurance and Reporting:

- Assist in ensuring robust and adequate controls are built to ensure proper accounting of revenue related items like premium, claims, commission, charges and reinsurance. Highlighting the all exception for course correction

- Responsible for entire reporting related to Revenue, which includes preparation of schedules related to premiums and claims, managing Auditors and reporting to regulator, Shareholders' and other internal stakeholders.

- Assistance in designing accounting framework and ensuring detailed SOP, accounting policies and accounting manuals are in place and well understood by the team

Policyholders and Vendors Payout:

- Ensuring accurate and timely payout to all the policyholders and vendors

- Building controls, framework and MIS for the same

- SOP formulation and benchmarking with industry

- Channel partners and Digital partners payout governance as per agreed Term sheet

- Bank Reconciliations related to Vendor payouts and Benefit payouts

- Compliance IRDAI, Tax and other applicable regulations

People Management:

- Guide the other verticals & peers in the FC shop on new requirements from Compliance, Group, IRDA and Law of the state, to the extent applicable

- Lead, coach and motivate a team that collaborates effectively across functions in the Company to achieve desired results
