Senior Manager Finance - Group Consolidation and Reporting

Job Description:


- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of periodic consolidated management reporting, quarterly financial reporting and other financial reporting across multiple business units.

- Manage consolidated financial closing activities for timeliness, accuracy and completeness including special transactions, local currency and functional currency accounting processes.

- Prepare monthly management reports, statutory audits, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Lead cross-functional projects in areas like audits, tax, accounting, and finance processes.

- Ensure financial governance and compliance with internal controls and tax matters.

- Oversee joint venture accounting, including investment values and share in profits.

- Provide insights and variance analysis to management on consolidated results, identifying key trends and issues.

- Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and ensure elimination entries are properly accounted for.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Bursa Listing Requirements as well as filing deadlines.

- Ensure accounting policies & procedures and applied consistently across the Group.

- Assist in preparing reports for Annual Report, board meetings, investors and etc.

- Streamline and enhance the consolidation and reporting process to improve efficiency and reduce timelines while ensuring the integrity of the process and data.

- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for group consolidation and reporting.

- Ad-hoc duties assigned by Management from time to time.

- Work closely with the accounting team and other business units to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA or CPA or ACCA or CWA or CMA with over 5 years of relevant work experience with minimum 3 years in financial consolidation and reporting.

2. Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAPP, IFRS, UAE VAT or other relevant standards.

3. Proven experience in managing multiple entities and group structures.

4. Experience working with major ERPs (Oracle, SAP, JDE, Hyperion) and advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint.

5. Strong communication skills to engage senior stakeholders and explain complex financial matters.

6. Proven leadership ability and experience managing small teams to deliver high-quality work.
