Company - It is a Global Capability Centre based in Manyata Tech Park,Bangalore for an Australian Retail Giant.

Primary Purpose of this role:

- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Manage and ensure compliance with all taxation finance requirements and regulations.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve high performance.

- Collaborate with two heads of finance to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.

Technical Skills Required:

- Accounting Standards: Advanced knowledge of accounting standards such as IGAAP, IFRS, and AGAAP.

- FP&A: Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

- Taxation: Expertise in managing corporate taxation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

- ERP Systems: Experience with SAP Finance S4HANA and SAP Ariba is advantageous.

- Internal Controls: Strong skills in business process internal controls, risk identification, and mitigation.

- Financial Reporting: Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and reporting financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Management: Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of financial results and compliance with statutory requirements.

- FP&A: Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, providing accurate and insightful financial forecasts and budgets.

- Taxation Finance: Manage all taxation activities, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings and compliance.

- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with two heads of finance to align financial strategies with business objectives and provide actionable financial insights.

- Process Improvement: Drive the transition and improvement of financial processes, implementing best practices and ensuring robust financial controls.

- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service efficiency and compliance.

Work Experience

- Finance Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance roles, with a strong background in accounting, FP&A, and taxation.

- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing finance teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.

- Financial Reporting: Extensive experience in financial reporting and analysis.

- ERP Systems: Experience with SAP Finance S4HANA and SAP Ariba is highly desirable.

- Retail Industry: Experience in the retail industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Compliance: Strong understanding of statutory requirements and regulatory compliance in finance.
