Sr. Manager - FINANCE mandate

Background :

- This is a promoter led, professionally managed INR 250 crs company focused on the FMCG food business including amongst other products in the dessert, pasta, sauces and fresh produce(mushrooms) categories. Some of the products like custard powder and mustard powder are generic to the product categories in which they operate.

- There are three manufacturing plants across Pune and Nalagarh

- There are 17 depots across the country for distribution and close to 1200 selling points.

- The products besides been available thought the retail distribution network is also available through ISS, LFRs, Modern retail, E-tailers and online stores.

- The products are also focused on the food services business as also the Horeca segment.

- The organization has aggressive plans both organic and inorganic to grow the business to INR 500 crs in the next three years.

As part of building the leadership team, there is the need to hire a Sr. Manager -Finance for the business reporting into the CFO. The details of the potential candidates being sought are as follows: -

1. Candidate Profile:

- Qualification required - Chartered accountant with a minimum of 7-8 yrs of experience

- Preferable experience in a consumer facing industry (B2C) with a strong skill in building new business

- A great team player with the ability to positively influence business and finance stakeholders.

- Passion for driving the firm ahead by leaps & bounds

2. Desired Skills and Experiences :-

- Knowledge & experience of Finance, accounts, taxation compliance and company law

- Domestic and global financial management experience across multiple & multi location business environments

- Handling team of commercial and Treasury

- Should be a keen learner / Out of the box-thinking capability

- IT understanding and extensive use of data for decision making

3. Job Summary:

- Interaction with business team members/business heads

- Deep dive into business analytics of & identify concern areas

- Performance of business unit for the month and drivers of NSV, VIC and Fixed costs

- Monthly trends of various business parameters (eg. Channel performance, category performance, margin analysis etc.)

- In depth working capital analysis & highlight potential areas of improvement

- Cash flow analysis including monthly trends to determine any warning signals

- Analyzing ROCE trend of business unit & areas of improvement

- Annual budgeting and planning - corporate guidance and synthesis in line with Vision of the Business

- Need based specific analysis & working out required correction plans

- Automation of MIS- and creation of dashboards

- Create central database of historical & current performance

- Ensure tax planning & compliance with the tax administration authorities

- Forecast the funding requirements & assess impact on balance sheet and cash flow

- Hands on experience on SAP ERP, would help the company transition to a more evolved IT savvy organization.
