Position Sr. Manager - Finance (Units) / Financial Controller

Reporting To VP Finance

Job Purpose/Overall objective:- To drive, manage and take ownership of the finance team to deliver better results. The manager will be responsible for overall group accounting.

Educational Qualification: CA

Work Experience: 10-12 Yrs

- Rich experience in finance function in management role.

- Exposure to accounting principal and practices

- Experience in liasioning with statutory auditors for group audits.

- Experience in formulation and governance of SOPs

- Experience of working in Manufacturing plant/unit.

Technical Skills

- Sound financial acumen.

- Strong understanding of finalization of accounts.

- Exposure to ERP environment

- Excellent excel skills

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Ensure smooth functioning of Accounts of Group Companies.

- Handling Taxation (Income tax, GST Returns) and Tax Planning of Group Companies.

- Responsible for timely filling of GST Audits.

- Preparation of MIS, Variances Budget vs. Actual etc.

- Participation in making of Budgets of Group Units.

- Leading a team of Accounts payable, Accounts Receivables & other accounting personnel.

- Presenting the Annual Financial Results of Group Companies for Audit and close them under guidelines of Statutory Auditors.

- Responsible for Internal & Other Business Audits for Group Companies.

- Interacting with Internal / External people for various business strategic issues

- Inventory management.

- Liaison with banks for Loans, working capital and arranging & renewals of Limits as per the requirement of business of Group Companies.

- Cash Flow of Group Companies.

- Develop SOPs to strengthen overall control in making operations more efficient.

- Preparing CMA data, Projections and other statements for banks from time to time.

KPIs 

- Quarterly Financial Results with Tax Planning

- Accounting and Legal Compliance in time and with quality - for group companies

- Finalization of budget for in time for group companies.

- Timely Finalization of P&L, Balance sheet & other financial statement.

- GST, income Tax, TDS Compliance for the group companies in time and with quality.

- MIS Control with Budgets Vs Actuals for group companies.

- Vendor reconciliation

- Asset Management
