Senior Manager/Finance Controller - Finance & Accounts - CA
Key Responsibilities:
- The candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles & financial reporting.
- He will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest accounting pronouncements and tax laws.
- Prepare management reports to support informed decision-making.
- May supervise and train junior staff (depending on the company structure).
Qualification/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.
- Must have experience in Audit Firms (i.e. Big 4 - Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
