Senior Manager - Finance - Computer & Network Security Firm - CA

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Build and lead Finance & Accounting team for India and other international subsidiaries & responsible for the accounting operations of the entity including preparation of periodic financial statements/ reports, compliance & ensuring that reported financials are fair and accurate

- Ensure the streamlining of various policies, procedures, and controls and ensure they are aligned with the larger corporate/ other entities

- Work closely with other functions including secretarial, payroll, etc. to ensure smooth operations of the entity, manage cash flow, and ensure timely payments to employees/vendors

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance on Accounting, Payroll, and Tax matters in accordance with local Indian statutory requirements and regulations

- Complete the statutory filings/ audits for the company in conjunction with external providers / internal teams. Comply with Indian statutory compliance laws and acts, like Income Tax, Service Tax, VAT, Foreign Exchange Regulation, Contract Labour, Provident Fund, ESI, Gratuity, Shops and Establishment, Workmen Compensation, etc.

- Provide policy guidance on accounting issues and their consistent application in practice

- Establish and lead finance operations in India

- Develop annual budget and executive planning process

- Active involvement in addressing complex financial reporting issues as they arise and providing input into the application of the technical accounting rules in accordance with India GAAP

- Maintain strong controls and processes in reporting accounting and financial data to the regulative government agencies and other regulatory bodies in India

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years experience directly managing a team of accountants or finance staff members

- Academic Qualification - Chartered Accountant with 8-12 years of experience post qualification

- Good technical knowledge of IFRS, India GAAP, and US GAAP

- Minimum of 6 years of experience with global best practices in accounting and finance, including some experience with business process transformation

- Subject matter experience with global best practices in finance and accounting business process multinationals operating in India and supporting centralized shared services
