About our Client : Our client is a leading MNC with operations in more than 36 countries. They are leaders in FMCG (manufacturing) with plants across locations in India. The have had a presence in India for the 20 years and have been seeing stable growth since.

Job Description: Reporting into the CFO, your responsibilities will involve a combination of both - strategic analysis and the collection and preparation of accounts. Apart from which you will also be responsible for:

- Finalization of accounts & preparation of accurate and timely financial statements that comply with local statutory requirements

- Preparing monthly MIS on performance of the company.

- Ensuring the month-end close process and detailed books are maintained to accommodate each legal entity and tax statutory reporting.

- Manage the financial planning and analysis effort, using the key input levers to the business.

- Preparation of Cash flow to forecast both weekly and quarterly basis.

- Own, manage and controlling the entire sales order processing, invoicing & Billing activities for the business.

- Review and process payroll at month end for various international locations.

- Credit control of customer accounts & Customer account management

- Be a subject matter expert on Local GAAP, Local Taxes to ensure financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.

- Liaising with Internal & External Auditors. Lead a small team of qualified individuals - providing them guidance to ensure timely reporting and key deliverables are met.

The Successful Candidate:

- You are a Chartered Accountant with a minimum 6 years (post qualification) of progressive financial work experience. Candidates with prior Big 4 accounting experience would be preferred.

- You are a team manager with a strong focus on accounting activities and in depth knowledge of Local GAAP, Indian Taxation and other Local regulatory requirements.

- It is imperative to demonstrate expert levels of Excel proficiency along with experience using SAP based software.

Apart from the above you should have well-developed quantitative skills, strong analytical thinking abilities and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting changing deadlines.

- Last and not least, you should be an out of the box thinker for suggesting the organizational strategy with excellent written and oral communication skills.
