- Our client is a lending and advisory platform founded in 2013 by alumnus of IIM C and MDI Gurgaon. The founders have over 15-20 years of experience in different financial institutions such as Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank and Deutsche Bank. They are experts in the field of consumer lending, insurance, credit, collections, credit strategy and policy, credit analytics etc.

- The company operates in the fin-tech domain, helping customers improve their credit ratings and get access to better financing options, and also providing leads and sales enablement services to companies in the BFSI domain. The group consists of a Finance Company (an NBFC) and Services Company (an advisory company). The Finance company uses proprietary analytical tools backed by certified credit counselling techniques to lend to people with low credit scores and who are unable to access the formal credit markets. The Services Company is the pioneer in introducing credit advisory services in India. They also provides customers with a wide range of analytical assessments, helping them have in-depth understanding of their credit status.

- The Credit simulator helps the user to check the impact of various credit actions on their credit health. The company caters to customers from 253 cities across the length and breadth of country. Headquartered in Mumbai, our client has offices in Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore, with a total employee strength of 150 people.

- As the Sr. Manager - Finance, you will be responsible for all areas related to financial operations, reporting and effective finance management.You will also be responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, tax compliance and closing of books of accounts.

The other key responsibilities will be as follows:

- Ensuring that Accounts are accurately prepared and finalized within timelines and in accordance with local regulations

- Responsible for Resource Planning,Budgeting and Allocation for various projects/departments

- Preparation and calculation of Business Projections

- Leading business planning processes (forecasts and Operating Plan) and reporting rhythms (i.e., risk & opportunities)

- Reviewing Balance sheet & Profit & Loss Accounts along with complete schedule for audit

- Reviewing of AP and AR controls and ensuring correct accounting and realization

- Handling of Statutory audit, Tax audit, internal audit and Due Diligence

- Preparation of schedules for Tax Audit and Statutory Audit.

- Ensuring timely completion of all audits

- Coordinating internal control questionnaire audits, follow up on audit comments and assisting in implementing corrective action wherever necessary

- Ensuring the compliance/documentation requirement for all laws like Companies Act, RBI regulations, Income Tax Act,

Service Tax, GST, FEMA etc.

- Finalizing all statutory reports and ensuring appropriate filing

- Accountable for system controls, adherence to the policies and SOPs in all areas having a financial impact

- Ensuring underlying accounting records are accurate, complete and in accordance with GAAP

Candidate Profile:

- CA with 5-8 years of experience in a Banking/NBFC

- Knowledge of accounting standards and GST preferred

- Strong knowledge of Direct/Indirect Taxation

- Analytical bent of mind and strong judgmental attributes and team handling skills

- Excellent Communication skills
