Position: Sr. Manager - Finance

Role Dimension:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Finance who will lead the Books, Audit, Payables, Banking, Insurance and Assets vertical.

- His role requires to manage the company's overall treasury function, including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, investment strategies, risk management, and banking relationships.

- Oversee the company's investment portfolio.

- Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with the company's risk tolerance and financial goals. Develop and implement hedging strategies to mitigate risk exposure.

Major Responsibilities Include:

- Develop & maintain timely & accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with GAAP.

- Guide finance stakeholders in finalizing correct accounting treatments for new & upcoming LOBs.

- Implement automated systems for consolidation of subsidiary financials into the group company.

- Coordinate and oversee the external audit process with Big 4 auditor including resolution of audit findings.

- Collaborate with peer teams (e.g.: FP&A, IR) for MD&A, annual report preparation, resolving investor queries etc.

- Implement industry best practices for month closing with accurate provisioning ensuring that the monthly financials are complete, accurate and highly reliable for strategic decision making.

- Conduct thorough analysis of financial performance and variances to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.

- Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll.

- Supervise and manage the accounts payable team in processing invoices accurately and efficiently for trade payments of >$3bn and non-trade payments of >$1bn.

- Set up systems for maintaining positive vendor relationships through effective communication and timely issue resolution.

- Effectively leverage our Oracle Fusion ERP system including Vendor Management module to automate end-to-end payment systems and build a scalable structure.

- Collaborate with Product for strengthening controls in Seller payouts and automating new use cases.

- Maintain strong banking relationships and implement innovative solutions for receivables, payouts, working capital etc.,

- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial professionals.

Qualifying Criteria:

- 8 to10 years of post qualification experience with audit experience in Big 5 and experience of handling Accounts / Audit in start ups.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, financial reporting, and financial data analysis.

- Experience with financial management software and ERP systems.

- Demonstrated experience in Business Partnering & external stakeholder management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Strong bias for speed for execution.

- Ability to multitask, think critically and execute tactically.

- Have a proven track record of finding innovative solutions to problems.
