Senior Manager - Finance - B2B Marketplace - Polymers

Our client acts as a distribution portal that is technology-enabled, focusing on polymer and thus making the trading process for both buyers and sellers easy and efficient. They act as a one-stop-shop and handle all the aspects in-between buying and selling such as logistics, payments, insurance, etc.

They focus on contributing to the polymer-dependent SME sector in India and the benefits of their portal include end-to-end solution, technology-led, saves time for the buyers and sellers, digital payment, timely delivery, etc.

Our Pune-based client has, approx., 2500+ existing buyers across 25+ states and 700+ locations. They are dealing with, approx., 50+ polymer companies across 120+ locations. They cover various industries such as packaging, automotive, medical, consumer durables, electronics, etc.

As a Senior Manager Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. You will be managing the finance team, developing financial strategies, and ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate and timely.

What you will do :

- Manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives

- Monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement

- Analyzing financial data to provide insights into the company's financial health and making recommendations for improvements

- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards

- Managing relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions

- Participating in the development of budgets, forecasts and financial plans

- Overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings

- Providing financial analysis and support to other departments in the company

- Leading special projects related to financial reporting and analysis

What you need to have :

Qualification :

- CA / CS / MBA Finance with experience working in trading or manufacturing companies

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Knowledge of financial software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
