Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - Mining Firm - CA

Urgent Hiring for a Senior Manager-Finance and Accounts for a leading Mining based company in Bangalore.

Details are as follows:

- Desired experience Level & qualifications Knowledge and Experience

- Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years

- Good understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS), SEBI LODR, book closure, MIS, controls, financial statements, and SAP

- Well-developed technical proficiency IT environment, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Role objective:

- Monthly review, MIS, quarterly and annual financial statements

- Contribute to the finance function by timely book closure, review of critical balances, monthly MIS, and other monthly management reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fieldwork

- Ensure timely closure of books as per monthly calendar

- Ensure closure of MIS for management review

- Responsible for preparation of financial statements (quarterly and annual) and related schedules

- Review of critical GL balances

- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights

- Disclosures in Annual report

- Understanding of controls in finance ops and building robust controls across functions

- Decision-making models capex/ leasing, production/ buy etc.

- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.

- Build a robust SAP system including automated reports, controls in SAP and automation
