As a Senior F&A Manager, you will be responsible for accounting & bookkeeping.

What you will do:

- Preparing, reviewing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

- Managing the monthly financial book closing process, including ensuring all revenue earned and costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation

- Interacting at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through annual report

- Assisting with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns

- Analysing the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Compliances

- Ensuring compliance with internal control policies

- Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance Process Improvement

- Participating in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes

- Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Accounting, Finance and Compliance functions

- Focusing on improving system efficiencies and business practices

- Participating in strategic financial projects including upgrades to internal software

- Providing leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization

- Creating and promoting a positive and supportive work environment

Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- CA with 4 to 5+ years of experience in the field of management accounting/ FinCon function

- Experience with a Big4 accounting firm will be preferred

- CA accountant with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

- Prior experience in a supervisory role would be preferred

- Thorough knowledge of Indian GAAP, Direct and Indirect Taxation relating to corporate accounting

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems

- Experience in process improvements, organized with attention to detail

- A proactive, hands-on strategic thinker who in partnership with the VP - Finance, will take up the responsibility for finance
