The jobholder as Senior Manager Finance - Finance reports to CFO and performs a set of responsibilities such as overseeing the complete statutory compliance of the school both Direct and Indirect Taxes and also responsible for Banking and Treasury operations of the school monitoring and managing the funds, investing the surplus and other funds as per investment policy of the school, dealing with the Bankers for updation of banking system whenever it is required.
- Monthly review of all statutory payments and returns before filing and remittances.
- Compiling, reviewing and filing of Income Tax Returns of the School, Associate Companies and other Trusts.
- Also coordinating with Statutory Auditors for review and approval of Audit Report under Income Tax Act, coordinating with Board Member's office for affixing Digital Signatures while filing Income Tax Returns Annually.
- Overseeing all Payments and approving after reviewing the same.
- Reviewing all visiting both domestic and foreign visiting faculty payments.
- Coordinating with Corporate Credit Bank- SBI for new applications and for all other queries of the Card Holders.
- Responding to the Queries and Other Notices from Income Tax Department while assessments or for any other Notices.
- Responding to the Notices of GST Department, also coordinate with GST Department Audits for smoot and seamless GST Audits.
- Should also coordinate with MHA- FCRA Audits and also for filing of Annual Returns.
- Coordinate with Board Members Office for conducting the AGM of the School.
- Whenever Staff/Faculty or Visiting Faculties ask for any queries with regards Income Tax or GST, respond to the queries.
- Providing necessary inputs for the Agreements/ MoU's entered by School either for Grants/Research of for Executive Education with regards to Taxation.
- Coordinating with Statutory Auditors/Internal Auditors during the audit times and providing necessary information and clarifications for smooth completion of the audits.
- Filing of all necessary Returns and Annual Returns with Registrar of Companies.
- Review of all forex remittances with regards to all statutory compliances for foreign remittances.
Job Specification
Knowledge / Education Specific Skills Desirable Experience
Chartered Accountant
Interpersonal Skill, Good communication skills, Sound accounting knowledge, Coordination Skills, Follow Up, Attention to Details, Time Management, SAP, MS Office, Knowledge and should always be updated with changes and amendments with regards to applicable Laws and Provisions.

Any Other Significant Input
- Person who has a lot of experience in Taxation and having experience in managing Government Authorities and providing responses timely to the authorities would be added advantage.
Key Responsibilities % Time Spent
1. Review, Reconciliation and filing of Monthly, and Annual GST Compliances of the registrations/locations - 20%
2. Review, Reconciliation, remittance of Monthly TDS, and compilation of data for Filing of Quarterly Returns and responding to the queries of vendors with respect to Form 16 A - 20%
3. Compile and get it reviewed Income Tax Returns and Tax Audit Reports, responding to the Assessment queries etc., - 20%
4. Providing timely information, responding to the queries from Tax Authorities, Statutory/Internal Auditors and also to Internal stake holders 10%
5. Providing clarification and responding to the queries of Visiting Faculties and providing input with regards to tax matters to MoU and Agreements - 10%
6 Associated Companies, and Trust Books of Accounts review and filing the Income Tax Returns - 10%
7. Reviewing of investments of Schools funds and per policy
