Senior Manager (Events)

- Responsible for running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly & manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event & carrying out the post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)

- Research venues, suppliers and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire

- Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel)

- Strategize and execute internal communications & events initiatives across the organization

- Planning, design, production, promotion, overall co-ordination and profitability of an event

- Experience in devising strong lead generation initiatives through events

- Strong relationship with all major industry associations including CII, FICCI, Amcham, Assocham, Credai, RICS etc

- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote the event

- Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate packs

- Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events

Qualification And Experience :

i. MBA in Marketing with 8+ Years of Experience in Event Management

ii. Strong experience in executing corporate events and also the ones done with industry or media associations

iii. Organisational skills and attention to detail

iv. Communication and interpersonal skills

v. Negotiation skills when looking for the best price from venues, suppliers and contractors

vi. Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event

vii. Project management experience

viii. Problem-solving skills and diplomacy

ix. Sales and marketing skills to promote the event and attract sponsorship

x. Ability to manage budgets

xi. Flexible, target-driven, proactive approach

xii. Administrative and IT skills

xiii. Self-motivation and enthusiast.
