Senior Manager (Event Management) required for a reputed media firm in Mumbai (Grant Road location)

The Job Context :

Our focus will be on premium, music based events, outside metro cities on a periodic basis. 100 events in the year across top 25 cities of India is our vision, and these will be experiential music based shows targeted at the top strata of the society. The target audience will typically be 35/40 plus who enjoy music of yesteryear and would like to spend on a musical event. We also plan to do shows in 10 cities of US / Canada and these will be a combination of music and comedy.

Our aim is to use the strength of our music catalogue, relationship with existing singers, ability to discover new talent, strength of our dealer network.

We need someone to lead this and fructify this dream. This person will be directly responsible for the conceptualization, production and execution of the show, as also will have shared responsibility for revenue generation. The position reports to VP Films, TV and Events.

Job brief :

Senior/ Chief Manager to lead the Events business, where his/her extensive experience of organizing large events and managing multiple variables will come in handy. The individual is expected to play key role in initiating and stabilizing a new revenue stream for the Company.

Requirements :

- Proven work experience in events management in multiple setups.

- Understanding of venue options, market preference and locational nuances.

- Great networking and relationship management

- Organizing skills and Eye for details

- High energy, ready to travel extensively
