You will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies related to ESG.Your primary responsibility will be to ensure alignment with global sustainability goals, regulatory requirements, ESG Due Diligence, stakeholder expectations, while also driving innovation and continuous improvement in ESG practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Lead the development of the company's ESG strategy, in line with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Identify key ESG risks and opportunities relevant to the organization and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, NGOs, and community groups, to understand their ESG expectations and incorporate feedback into strategic planning.
- Act as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to the company's ESG performance and initiatives.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and implement ESG policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor changes in ESG regulations and emerging trends, and update policies accordingly to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the company's ESG performance across environmental, social, and governance dimensions.
- Prepare regular reports on ESG performance for internal stakeholders, executive leadership, board of directors, and external entities such as investors and rating agencies.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, finance, human resources, and legal, to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes and business practices.
- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with ESG goals and objectives.
