We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager of Enterprise Sales / Partnership to lead and drive growth within our enterprise accounts.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for managing a team of account executives, developing sales strategies, and executing complex sales cycles for high-value, strategic accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, building strong client relationships, and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of enterprise account executives, ensuring they are well-equipped to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to direct reports to enhance their skills and sales effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven team culture, promoting a high level of accountability and continuous improvement.
Enterprise Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new enterprise clients, while expanding business within existing accounts.
- Identify key target industries and accounts, and tailor sales strategies to meet the unique needs and challenges of large organizations.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to refine and adapt the sales approach.
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth:
- Drive sales performance to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for high-value deals, from prospecting to negotiation and close.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers within enterprise accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic sales presentations and proposals for large-scale opportunities.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with the company's overall objectives.
- Work closely with product teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with current and future product offerings.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop forecasts, track KPIs, and ensure the sales team's efforts align with company goals.
Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
- Track and analyze team performance metrics, adjusting tactics to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in selling complex solutions to large organizations, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, including solution selling, relationship management, and negotiation tactics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically, while also being hands-on in driving day-to-day sales execution.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce or similar) and sales tools.
- Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analysis.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
