Senior Manager - Engineering Purchase - Chemicals

- B. E. / B. Tech. (Mechanical or Chemical) with Material Management (Preferred)

- Purchasing of engineering goods and items ensuring timely delivery of procured material at optimal cost for Projects & Plant Maintenance at HO and Plants. Negotiations with vendors and contractors to get the best market price and in Capex/Revenue Budget.

Key Responsibilities (The primary duties and tasks of the position):

- Procurement to pay cycle with compliance to all SOPs for Goods & Services, equipment & machinery, contracts for site work and HO.

- Perform purchasing activities from PR to Delivery including timely issuing of purchase requisitions, obtaining quotes, preparation of commercial comparative statements, vendor/contractor negotiations.

- Coordinate with all disciplines as required in scope, delivery period, schedule etc.

- Timely issuing purchase order, Minimise PR to PO issue lead time.

- Daily monitoring and reviewing of purchase indents.

- To follow the procurement process and documentation as per ISO / Statutory requirements

- Expedite material delivery with suppliers and address action plan for any concerns.

- Coordination with transporters, store team for material receipt

- Coordination with account team for vendor payments and other any commercial matters

- Vendor List & New Vendor Development through appropriate due diligence

- Get the best savings by hard negotiations with vendors and contractors.

- Negotiate the best terms and conditions of purchase with least delivery time

- Prepare reports on purchases, including unit-wise PR/PO statistics, savings reports
