Senior Engineering Manager

Niche Search Services is looking for Senior Engineering Manager for one of its clients who is pioneer in disrupting the debt collections industry with intelligence. Client is a big data analytics company on a mission to revolutionize the digital debt collections industry and they are a fintech company that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) to enhance customer reach, engagement, and interaction.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build customer facing technology product for it's customers

- End to end ownership of the Product's front-end and back-end development, building reusable, testable, and scalable components and products

- Research, evaluate, analyze and implement technical requirements and guide the team for arriving at the right technical decisions

- Collaborate with product management teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience

- Hire and Mentor Junior members of the team

- Work with a performance-oriented team members driven by ownership and open to experiments

- Work and flourish in a fast paced Start-up environment

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 to 15 years of solid experience in Engineering and Engineering Management; have developed products from scratch preferably in a Startup including development experience on MEAN/MERN Stack

- Must have a B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S. or equivalent degree from a tier 1 college

- Experience in Product development companies and FinTech Domain, Lending would be preferred

- Strong Architectural & Design skills

- Strong in coding, Data Structures and Algorithms

- Technology Preferred - Java , Python, Ruby, Golang or any open source technologies

- Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and Services on Ruby on Rails stack

- Experience in Cloud Service Providers like AWS, Azure, GCP etc.

- Knowledge of databases like Postgres, MongoDB, Redis and search indexes Elasticsearch/Solr etc.

- Should have a strong focus on Quality, Scalability and Performance aspects of the product

- Knowledge in testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Protractor, Jasmine or Mocha, Jest and Enzyme, JMeter, Jenkins, or similar and equivalent tools would be great for working closely with the quality and testing teams

- Solid hands-on experience and desire to build customer centric products and work closely with Product Management and UX teams to achieve that

- Should have a positive attitude and a proven track record of leading, hiring, strong teams of engineers and have the skills for mentoring and developing great people along with the skills for developing great products

- Should have good experience in project management in an Agile software development in a fast paced setup preferably in start-ups

- Willing to Work From Office
